Come and get your Greek on with us at the 13th Annual Sarnia GreekFest. Last year we had 8,500 people attend our festival over the 3 days and we want to keep it growing strong.
***NEW*** ALL vendors will be inside the festival grounds!
Sarnia GreekFest is currently going into its 13th year of hosting a family fun event for our community highlighting Greek Culture and Canada’s multiculturalism. Sarnia GreekFest takes place the first weekend in August every year. This event brings 1000’s of attendees to the downtown arts and to the doors of the business core.
Friday August 2 from 4:00-11:00 pm
Saturday August 3 from 12:00-11:00 pm
Sunday August 4 from 12:00-4:00pm
Sarnia GreekFest is a non-profit organization that donates part of the proceeds to other local charities such as the St. Joseph’s Hospice, Special Olympics and Bluewater Health.
This year we would like to highlight the unique multiculturalism that Sarnia has to offer. The Greek community is excited to share their authentic food and entertainment, as well as showcase other cultural entertainment and dancing. This is a great way for families to learn more about the culture and history of our Greek Community. They will also be able to enjoy traditional Greek music, dancers and a great selection of authentic Greek food!
Friday night enjoy Greek Street food while listening to one of Sarnia’s favorite bands Song Machine Band. Dance and sing your night away. This band plays all the smash hits you really want to hear, with a touch of new country just for kicks!
Saturday enjoy the Greek culture with authentic Greek food and delicious desserts. Enjoy watching Greek dancing and listening to authentic Greek music. A great way to learn more about the Greek culture by having dinner and enjoying the entertainment.
Sunday is our family day. Come and watch multicultural entertainment with your family and enjoy some of our Authentic Greek food one last time until next year! Sing and dance with one of Sarnia’s most
popular bands, Celtic Hillbillies. They play a wide range of Celtic/Irish, country, rock, and old favourites sure to please everyone in the crowd.
Sarnia GreekFest enhances the growth of tourism and volunteerism while recognizing the culture and heritage of not just Greek traditions, but with our multiculturalism day on Sunday. This is the only major festival downtown this summer that celebrates our cultural diversity here in the City of Sarnia.
Sarnia GreekFest is an anchor event that attracts over 8000 people in attendance each year. Sarnia GreekFest is one of the oldest running non-profit festivals in Sarnia due to the strong and loyal patrons, volunteers and community members.
We look forward to celebrating with you and your family.
